This weekend in Dec 8 worship

Dear Grace Family,

Advent is in full swing at Grace, and we have a full weekend of activities. Tomorrow is the Living Nativity and it looks like the weather will cooperate. After a couple of chilly days, it is forecast to be in the mid 50’s on Saturday afternoon. Come to the church between 2:00-4:00 PM for children’s activities, hot cocoa, smores, pictures with Santa and of course a live telling of the Christmas story. It will be a great afternoon.

When you come to the church this weekend, it is not too late to pick up an Angel for our Angel Tree. We still have about 60 children who need gifts. The deadline to return the gifts has been extended until Tuesday, December 10. Each Angel has a suggested gift that does not need to be wrapped. You can return the gift to Grace UMC or the Center of Grace.

On Sunday, December 15 (one week from this Sunday), the Celebration Choir will present “Sing Joy to All the World.”  You can hear the Christmas Cantata at either the 9:00 AM or the 10:30 AM worship. It will be a morning filled with music and the joy of the Christmas story. This is a Sunday you will not want to miss.

I am always incredibly grateful to serve as your pastor, but especially during the Advent and Christmas seasons. There is no better place to hear the story of the nativity than Grace United Methodist Church!

See you in worship!

Barry
