This Week in Worship – 9/8

Dear Grace Family,
We have been talking about it for weeks and now it is finally here. I am not talking about the football season which was a little disappointing last night or the Old Settlers celebration. No, I am talking about Blessing Sunday at Grace United Methodist Church. It is happening this Sunday and it starts with three opportunities to worship with your church family. I will continue my worship series on “What is so Amazing About Grace?” at 9:00 and 11:00 in the Celebration Center. Pastor Mitch will lead worship at Common Grace as he preaches on the third of “Six Covenants” found in our scriptures. If you haven’t been to church this summer, this is a great week to return to worship.

At 2:00 pm, we will have our Blessing Sunday Celebration in the East Parking Lot at the church. We will have a blessing of the animals, blessing of the backpacks, blessing of the cars and a blessing of our community as we collect underwear donations for the Center of Grace. We will also be blessed by two food trucks and wonderful fellowship. Come anytime between 2:00 and 4:00 PM and I promise you will be blessed. it is going to be a great Sunday with your GUMC family.
