This Week in Worship – 9/15

Dear Grace Family,

I have had many people ask if my wife Diana created the worship visuals in the Celebration Center. Diana is an artist and has been involved with the visuals, but she is not the source. We are working with Grace Cox-Johnson who has been designing worship settings for many years. She will continue to help us create beautiful and meaningful worship settings. I am overjoyed that she has joined our worship team.

One of the reasons I enjoy working with Grace Cox-Johnson is that she loves including the congregation in the creative process. On Tuesday, September 19 at 7:00 PM, she will host a “Dye Painting Party” at the church for anyone who wants to join the fun as we create the visuals for our October worship series It is not difficult, and Grace will bring all of the supplies. If we have 4-6 people who want to participate, the whole evening will only take a couple of hours. You can email me a.t [email protected] if you are interested. I promise it will be a night filled with joy and a creative spirit.

This Sunday, Pastor Wes will preach in the Celebration Center as he addresses our third question, “How shall we live?” Pastor Mitch will continue his sermon series on the Six Biblical Covenants at Common Grace. It is an exciting time to be a part of what God is doing in our church.
