This Week in 6/30 Worship

Dear Grace Family,

I know the title of my email is this week in worship, but first I want to tell you what is happening at the church on Saturday morning. Our Trustees having been doing a lot for our building in the past year. Most of the work has been funded by our Foundation and has not come from the church budget. Some of the projects have come out of a building fund at the church. Let me just share a few of the Trustee projects that are either completed or are in process. We have a new LED screen in the sanctuary, new live stream equipment in Grace Gathering, a refurbished sign on Ridgeview with our new logo, all new energy efficient lights for the parking lot and outside of our building have been delivered and are ready to be installed, and finally a new heating and air system for the choir room and chapel has been purchased.

I share all of that so you can see that we have a very active team of Trustees. Now the Trustees are asking for our help this Saturday morning. We have a number of trees and bushes that need our attention. If you are able to join us at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, most of the work can be done in a couple of hours. If you have tree trimming tools, bring them with you.

On Sunday we will continue our sermon series on the parables as we dig into the story of a merchant who finds a valuable pearl. Mitch will be leading the 8:00 a.m. outdoor worship and Wes will preach at Common Grace at 10:15 a.m. Come early so you can ooh and aah at all the trees that were trimmed up the day before!

See you in worship!

Each Tuesday Pastor Mitch publishes a devotion on his website  If you’d like to receive this in your inbox, drop him an email at  [email protected] and just say “Sign me up!”
