Sunday School Classes
This info is pre-pandemic and is not currently in effect (except for yoga classes below).
We offer four adult Sunday School classes during our Sunday morning worship gathering. All classes meet from 9:15-10:30 AM.
Christian Gathering Class – Room 204
This class uses United Methodist Bible studies that looks at the people, places & events of the Bible with answers to the questions about life & times of the biblical world. They also gather for fellowship throughout the year. Most people in this class are 60’s & 70’s, but anyone is welcome to attend. Steps of Faith Class – Room 201
This class uses a variety of short-term studies lasting 6-8 weeks. Studies frequently revolve around a faith-based book and include scripture.Most people in the class are in their 40’s & 50’s, but anyone is welcome. For more information, please email Shawn Foreman.
New Beginnings Class – Room 123A
This class uses Faith Links to apply their United Methodist beliefs to current faith issues and world events and how we, as Christians, are to respond. Each study has scripture and discussion questions. Most people in this class are in their 60’s & 70’s, but anyone is welcome to attend. For additional information, please email Sam Bartee.
Lost & Found Class – Book & Coffee Shop
This class uses a variety of short-term studies lasting 6-8 weeks. Most people in this class are in their 20’s & 30’s, but anyone is welcome to attend. For more information, contact Miguel Romero.
Weekly Chair Yoga sessions meet Sundays at 2:00 PM.
Come to the Grace Gathering Room for a gentle 50-60 min. class. Wear comfy, stretchable clothes. No charge, no experience needed. RSVP or for more information, contact: .

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. It is beneficial if you have limited mobility, want to improve flexibility, strengthen muscles, reduce stress, increase bone density, work on balance, expand lung capacity, and have fun!
You are invited to come stretch and renew your body and spirit through the age-old, yet ever-new, practice of yoga. Classes meet Thursday from 4:30-5:45 PM
and 5:50-7:00 PM in the Youth Room upstairs by the Grace Gathering Room. Both classes focus on alignment, breathing, movement and balance. No yoga experience is necessary. Classes are led by Robin Olson-ERYT 200. Bring a mat and wear comfy clothes.
