May 19th – Part 3: Emily’s Story

Last summer we held a series of in-home meetings to learn about Grace. One of the goals that emerged was to create a Sunday morning schedule that worked for everyone. That is probably an impossible goal, but we need to begin by gathering information.

We have created a survey that we hope will be helpful as we move forward together. This is not a vote on a future schedule but a tool to help us find the best option. We are trying to learn how a change in the schedule would impact all of the groups that attend worship and Sunday school. It includes a number of possible schedules including not changing anything on Sunday morning. It also has a question about the summer 8:00 am outdoor worship.

Every person in your family may fillout a schedule, but please do not fill it out more than once. Here is the link to the survey or you may use the above QR Code.

Join Pastor Wes in his podcast! This is Bible Study on the go, to fit your schedule.

The first series took five weeks to explore the book of Jonah and how God offered grace to Jonah, the Ninevites, and us. We can be stubborn, insist on our own way, judge, and even condemn the people we do not like. But God offers us and our “enemies” the very same opportunities for Grace.

Over the next 10 weeks, we will look at the Epistle of James. James is an especially challenging book as it forces us to ask if our actions, the things we do and say line up with what we claim to believe. Can we talk the talk and walk the walk.
