The 2023 Annual Charge Conference is scheduled for 7 pm tonight, January 3rd, 2023 in the Grace Gathering Room. All church members are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting. The Charge Conference is held every year to share information about the working of the Church. We hope to see you all there!

Confirmation Registration is now open!
Confirmation is open for students 8th grade or above who want to become active members at GUMC, and grow in their relationship with God, other students, adult mentors and learn more about who they are in the world.
An informational meeting and pizza dinner for students and parents and mentors is on February 8th, 6:30-8pm.
Classes begin February 15th, and the Confirmation Ceremony occurs on Sunday, May 7th at the 9am service.
Classes will be every Wednesday, 6:30-8pm. The first half-hour, Confirmation participates in GUMY Youth Group, playing games and hanging out in the Youth Room. At 7, Confirmation separates to be with their mentors and teaching pastors for class. Click on the link below to register.
Mexico Medical Team Planning Meeting
After missing three years traveling to the small village of Tochimizolco, Puebla, Mexico, a medical team is being formed to take medical care there April 11-18, 2023. If you are interested in learning more, there will be a meeting at Grace Ridgeview Campus on Sunday, January 29 at 2 p.m., in the Chapel. All types of medical personnel are needed as well as people willing to provide support for the work. Save the Date for GRACE EXTRAVAGANZA – March 3, 2023
Grace Extravaganza is an annual benefit dinner and auction to raise funds for our missions and ministries. On Friday, March 3, 2023, we will host a magical “Once Upon a Time for Missions.” There will be food, music and magical fun for everyone! All to benefit the missions of our church. Tickets go on sale Sunday, February 5th. There is also a Kids Extravaganza! Watch for posters with more information. It takes many volunteers to make this event a success. We are currently in need of help in the following areas:
Team Volunteers: Seek donations. Pick up donations, set up auction rooms and work the night of the event. Contact Liz Dunsing at [email protected] or (913) 269-4233.
Table Hosts: Play host at a table for the evening, No cooking or cleaning required – just decorate your table and fill it with friends! Contact Kathie Pelan at [email protected] or (913) 558-4707.
Donations for Silent & Live Auctions: Past donations have included vacation timeshares, hotel getaways, gift certificates, fine art, jewelry, toys, tickets to sporting events, concert tickets, classes and even puppies!
