Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. It is beneficial if you have limited mobility, want to improve flexibility, strengthen muscles, reduce stress, increase bone density, work on balance, expand lung capacity, and have fun!
P.S. – we also still have the two ongoing “non-chair” yoga classes: Thursday from 4:30-5:45 PM and 5:50-7:00 PM in the Youth Room upstairs by the Grace Gathering Room. Both classes focus on alignment, breathing, movement and balance. No yoga experience is necessary. Classes are led by Robin Olson-ERYT 200. Bring a mat and wear comfy clothes.
