Grace Youth
Grace United Methodist Youth (GUMY) exists to empower, educate and equip our youth (6th-12th grade) to love God, live like Jesus and change the world.
We believe that through intentionally connecting with God and others, regularly devoting time to Scripture and prayer and frequently serving our community and world, we can build a strong foundation that will support a lifelong relationship with Christ.
Times: 9-10am Sundays, 6:30-8:00pm Wednesdays
Location: Youth Room (3rd floor)
Three special events to highlight for the GUMY April calendar:
Youth Group and Confirmation will meet at the Center of Grace, 5:15-8pm to serve a meal to the food-insecure, and then share a meal at the Center together. Both Youth Group and Confirmation will meet and have their nights at the Center.
On April 28th, at 10:15am, there will be a light breakfast and time of celebration for the graduating seniors.
May 5th is the Confirmation ceremony, in the 9am service, and therefore, no Sunday School that day. Come and support your Confirmands!
Saturday, April 20th Serve Day is cancelled, and will be rescheduled for May 18th, 9-1.
We will celebrate our GUMY graduating seniors on Sunday, April 28th, in the GUMY room at 10:15am, following the 9am service. We’ll have simple breakfast items and gift-bags for our seniors. Families and friends are welcome.
Trip costs cover transportation, lodging, food and any work-project resources needed.
