You won’t want to miss out! Be part of the fun this summer as we teach kids what it means to “Raise Your Game” during VBS this summer. We have opportunities for adults and youth (6th grade and above) to help us make June 17-20 the best week of the summer!
Look at the descriptions below and sign up on the boards outside the coffee shop if you can help! Donations items needed shown on frames outside Celebration Center.
Small Group Leaders: Our biggest need is people who are willing to work in the classrooms with the children. If you are unsure where you’d like to volunteer, please pick an age level spot! You’ll get to experience all aspects of VBS in this role. We provide the curriculum and 99% of the supplies so you can focus your time and energy on being with the children.
Station Helpers: Volunteers will help with the set-up, replenishing supplies and guiding the children through the activities at each station. Some activities may get messy and loud! If signing up for games know that you’ll be outside and be running around.
Greeters/Dismissal Help Information Desk – We are looking for people who will arrive early and welcome families into the building. We want families to have a great experience from the moment they enter Grace. Additionally, you will help with the “busy” process of dismissal. In between greeting and dismissal you will act as first aid station, prep materials for the next day and being a smiling face in our hallway.
Floater – Can only serve for a couple of days? Sign up as a floater and we’ll put you where we need you. Could be in a classroom or in a rotation station.
Pre-Work – Want to help but you can’t be here June 17-20? We will have some miscellaneous things you can assist with. It may be copying, cutting or packaging things together. If you are feeling really creative you can help us with decorations!
DONATIONS! – It takes a lot of supplies to make the week great! Help us get ready by picking up a donation card from the picture frames on the wall outside the Celebration center. Purchase the items you selected and drop off by June 9th in the metal cans located underneath the donation boards.

Mission Team to Guatemala in 2020
Pastor Cheryl will be leading a mission team to Guatemala from February 1st to February 9th, 2020. Once again, the team will be working with Mission Guatemala, a faith-based nonprofit whose mission philosophy is based on John Wesley’s teaching: “Do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God.” The team is open to anyone who feels that his/her talents can be used through their participation as a member of this mission work team. Construction skills are needed, as well as unskilled, general laborers.
The approximate cost of the nine-day work trip is $1550. The cost covers airfare, local transportation, food, lodging, and most other trip related expenses. In 2020, Pastor Cheryl is hoping to have more folks go from Grace to experience the beauty of Guatemala and the hospitality, faith, and hope of the Guatemalan people. The team will be limited to 14 people, so sign up soon with a $150 deposit to secure your spot. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Cheryl at
